You reap what you sow - Kingdom Finances

MAIN TEXTS: GALATIANS 6: 7; 1 CORINTHIANS 9: 7-14; 2 CORINTHIANS 9: 8
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked: for whatever a man sows that he shall also reap
[Galatians 6: 7]

God has called us and gave us gifts to minister in his kingdom. God has a throne and thus a kingdom and onto this kingdom, his sceptre has to be extended by man. To Adam he gave dominion and authority as the extension of his sceptre but sin dethroned man and enthroned the devil and self. In the fullness of time, God remembered mankind as if he had forgotten and redeemed him from the authority and dominion of Satan, self and sin to the kingdom of his son. The sacrifice of his son captured his heart and now he cannot but give his attention to the sacrifice of Christ and focus on this kingdom of Christ to extend his reign and kingdom with mankind
You reap what you sow - Kingdom Finances
One of the greatest needs today in God’s kingdom is finances for his work which seem to be a challenge to many who claim to have a call of God to extend the territory dominated by the kingdom. Many have visions laid on paper or in different storage formats of this age but cannot take them out into action. In brief, if you seek the kingdom first, everything will be added unto you. The issue is here talking of the positioning of the heart for it will be attached to will govern what you will get. It took only a heart ready for the kingdom of God to be established in the life of David the patriarch. Out of this pure desire God ran around to finance this project. Listen to the kingdom cry from David’s heart,”Lo I dwell in a house of cedars but the ark of the covenant of the Lord remaineth under curtains. [1Chronicles 17: 1]. God saw the genuiness of his heart and that was enough for God to finance the work. He answered through Nathan the prophet saying, “The Lord will build thee an house”. [1 Chronicles 17: 10]

From this text, if your heart is a kingdom heart, God will finance your work if it be not his. The major problem is that people have moved from being kingdom builders to Empire builders. The Nimrod mentality has crept in the people, they are saying, “Let us make a name for ourselves.” [Genesis 11: 4]. They want kingdom finances to finance their empires which they are building. Their minds are calling all to come to their churches and ministries and their fame as ministries and churches. From the reference text scriptures, “whatever a man soweth, that he shall also reap [Galatians 5: 7] and he who sows sparingly, will also reap sparingly and whoever sows generously will also reap generously [2 Corinthians 9: 6] Do not muzzle the ox while it is trading the grain……if we have sown spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we reap material harvest from you.[1 Corinthians 9: 9,11] If your heart sows to the work of God as unto the establishment of the Kingdom other than Empire building then the kingdom of God will finance you. If you sow sparingly to your empire or your church you will reap sparingly from that field the finances for the work. If you sow to the kingdom from there you will reap because you can’t expect to reap where you did not sow unless you are tasked to do the reaping. This is only when you work with the sower in partnership. If you sow your ministry generously into the kingdom you will reap generously from the kingdom of God. Remember sowing is thought attitude and action so everything from within should be genuine. Some of the most successful ministries financially are kingdom builders. If you seek kingdom partners and sponsors to finance your Empire building project then you are worse than a thief, reaping where you did not sow.

You don’t have first to establish a strong and powerful congregation to get kingdom finances. Through the finished work of Christ all necessary finances are already waiting for a true kingdom building heart and vision. “Therefore since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and Godly fear.”[Hebrews 12: 28] The kingdom mission, message or vision cannot be shaken by financial lack for its source of finance is the God ho proclaims, “The silver is mine and the gold is mine …”[Haggai 2: 8] When it comes to finances we should enter the Rest of God because it has to be God’s work which we are carrying. It is God’s vision and it is his word which he says, “I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled”[Jeremiah 1: 12] The word is to establish a kingdom which cannot be shaken and he is even watching with his finances so be a kingdom builder who has entered the Sabbath rest of God. He will do it if you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath, and from doing as you please on his holy day. If you call the Sabbath a delight and the Lord’s holy day honourable and if you honour it by not going your own way, and doing as you please or speaking idle words. Then you will find your joy in yhe Lord, and He will cause you to ride on the heights of the land and to feast on the inheritance of your Father Jacob….”[Isaiah 58: 13]

This rest is no longer a day but given by the Lord of the Sabbath, Jesus Christ. That’s when you trust God for finances by not doing as youplease but doing his will as the kingdom comes, not going your own way to build your own empires and speaking what he is not saying. If you remember this rest you will ride on the heights of the land having kingdom finances. Those who preach the Gospel will live by the Gospel and those who minister the kingdom will live by the kingdom.
