THE LAW OF WORK
“Lazy people want much but get little but
those who work hard will prosper and be satisfied.” Prov.
13:4 (NLT)
In my soon coming
book, The Laws of Kingdom Prosperity one of the laws we talk about is the Law of Work which states that,
“It takes grace to get
potential and it takes work to extract potential”
Work is God's
original idea, it did not come as a result of the fall, but toiling did. Sin
just changed the working conditions. Gen 2: 15 teaches us that man was
originally created to work the garden and manage it. Creation came as a result
of work, imagination brought to work.
The fall of men,
Slavery and Capitalism put people on the wrong side of work and the wrong
conditions as people have been forced to do work that does not consider what
one is good at, passionate about and is created and designed to do and with all
the sacrifice get very little rewards for the work. This has made people think
that work is the problem. The end result is that people hate work and think
rest is better than work. The proportionality that God put of 6:1 is the ideal,
6 days of work and 1 for rest, more rest will impact negatively on the person.
Every Kingdom that
is great is a result of work. All great empires were built on work whether it
was forced or not. Working 8 hours a day is for survival most successful people
work for 12-16 hours a day…How many hours are most Africans working a day? If
there is hope for a better Zimbabwe and better Africa then work cannot be put
out of the equation. HAPPY WORKERS DAY
