YOUR PURPOSE IS TRAPPED INSIDE YOU: PURPOSE DRIVEN LIVING
(PDL) INSIGHTS (PART 2)
Our backgrounds, upbringing and experiences in life can
shape us in a way that takes away what I call personal power. This is when the system around us reduce our
perceptions of ourselves to a level where we think we have nothing meaningful
to contribute. We will deal with regaining the personal power in the future as we continue to walk.
To have a foundation of looking at ourselves we have to get
to a place where we see ourselves as we are seen by our maker. Since we are on
earth for a divine assignment it takes reconciliation to an intimate
relationship with the creator to fully realise our worth.
Today's insight looks at understanding how the Maker works.
This is revealed in [Isaiah 46: 9 -10]
which says,
"Remember
[carefully] the former things [which I did] from ages past; For I am God, and
there is no one else; I am God, and there is no one like Me, "Declaring
the end and the result from the beginning, and from ancient times the things
which have not [yet] been done, Saying, 'My purpose will be established, And I
will do all that pleases Me and fulfils My purpose,”
The scriptures show that the Lord pictures the end or makes
the end and puts the end in the beginning. This principle can be easily
understood by looking at the principle of a seed. Inside a seed is a tree and
all the fruits that the tree will bear. So the end (tree) is in the beginning
(seed). With the right environment, resources and management the end is
guaranteed.
It is this principle that applies to PURPOSE DRIVEN LIVING
(PDL). Before your life starts, your potential end and purpose is already
inside you awaiting discovery, development and deployment. The fact that your
life started is enough evidence that the expected glorious end is designed and
certain. This is echoed in the words of the Apostle Paul who said,
"For we are His workmanship [His own
master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from
above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which
God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would
walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for
us]." —[Ephesians 2: 10]
With this understanding of how God works by designing a
perfect future of PURPOSE DRIVEN LIVES that are full of good works that add
value to other people 's lives, we can appreciate the need of discovering this
purpose that is designed to be bigger than our little aspiration. You are
created for a bigger purpose and our Heavenly Father is awaiting that we relate
with him, discover his purpose for our lives and walk in it.
May you embrace the fact that no matter where you are and
the circumstances you have been through you still have the potential to
transform your life to a glorious and fruitful life. Like a seed in the worst
of places, it still has it's potential to a fruitful life awaiting to be taken
to the right environment.
Let's Soldier On in
the PDL journey knowing that inside you is the purpose that God saw that can
only be fulfilled by you, gaps that can be bridged by you and spaces that are
calling for you to occupy. God designs the end and locks it inside the
beginning in seed form, your end is locked inside you and is way better than
your beginning or your current position.
